Healthy Road Trip Tips
It’s challenging to eat healthy and keep up your energy level on road trips, especially if you have a large group in tow. The key is to plan ahead.
- Pack a cooler with bottles of water and pre-packed lunches and snacks. Carrots and hummus, and celery and peanut butter are good examples of nutritious and energy packed snacks. These types of snacks come pre-packaged so they’re easier to pack.
- Take frequent pit stops. Aim to stop every two hours to stretch and walk around. This helps keep energy levels up during long trips.
